Cast Iron Chicken Thighs

Cast iron chicken thighs are a delicious way to serve crispy, perfectly cooked chicken. Plus, it’s an easy one-pan meal, as the flavorful sauce is cooked in the same pan as the chicken.

Chicken thighs Kosher salt and pepper Onion powder Olive oil Garlic Dry white wine Chicken stock Fresh thyme leaves Lemon juice Unsalted butter

INGREDIENTS

Remove any excess moisture from chicken. Season the thighs all over with the salt, pepper, and onion powder.

Heat oil until hot, add the chicken thighs to the pan, skin side down. Sear for 4-5 minutes, then bake for 12-15 minutes until cooked through.

Reserve the drippings. Place the pan back on the stove over medium heat. Sauté the garlic cloves until translucent. Deglaze the pan with white wine. Add the chicken stock, thyme, and lemon juice.

Remove pan from the heat and stir in the butter. Adjust seasoning. if necessary. Serve the pan sauce over the chicken thighs.
