We moved last year from the country into the city, a big city. I’m not too fond of city living because of a few things. One is neighbors, the other is that there are so many places to eat! In fact, I can walk to Dairy Queen…if I walked that is. They have a brand new Drumstick Blizzard and I suddenly have the urge to talk a walk…to Dairy Queen.

Dairy Queen

Normally when I go to Dairy Queen I get a Chocolate Covered Cherry Blizzard. I don’t even think it’s on the menu these days, but I have been getting them since the beginning of Dairy Queen Blizzards.

They used to hand them to you upside down, I don’t know if other places still do it, but they don’t here. Maybe because it’s so hot here in Texas and they start melting fast?

I do love a Nestle Drumstick Ice Cream Cone, we usually keep a box of the mini ones in the freezer. They never stick around long and are a special treat. My favorite part is the last bit of the cone that is loaded with chocolate.

Nestle

I wouldn’t mind checking out a new Blizzard flavor. They took Nestle (only the best) Drumstick pieces, chopped peanuts, and chocolate and then blended it all in Dairy Queen’s awesome vanilla soft serve ice cream.

You can dig right in for a spoonful of the drumstick flavor that you love but with a lot more ice cream! This is Dairy Queen’s Blizzard of the Month, so that means it is only available for a limited time.

You’ll want to get there soon to try it for yourself. I know I will be checking it out, I know my husband will love it! What is your favorite Blizzard flavor from Dairy Queen? Have you tried the Frosted Animal Cookie Blizzard?
